Hello,
My company is the process of identifying available eLearning delivery methods/tools. At this time, we are using Brainshark, which can be described as a web-based tool that allows business people to enhance existing PowerPoint presentations with audio, testing, videos and other interactions. I would like to know what other companies are using to create their own eLearning modules. If you could provide information regarding pricing, features, training costs, etc. it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! ~Charleen |

How much time do you have for input? There are now hundreds of tools in this space.
A quick Google search will get you started: http://www.google.com/search?h...=f&oq=&aqi=g-m1g-ms1 Common tools, in alphabetical order, are: Adobe e-Learning Suite Articluate Camtasia Captivate Lectora (and many many others) Us purists will always say that turning PowerPoint into e-learning is not as simple as adding voice and a SCORM wrapper. Real training begins long before a tool is thought of--during the front end analysis. This is when the work of determining if training is the right intervention, what needs to be taught, how best to teach it, etc... e-learning is, on its own, a methodology, with sub-methodologies of asynchronous, synchronous, interactive, static, gaming, etc. The methodology that is used depends on the topic as well as the organizational culture, time, budget, time to first class, and existing ID skills within the organization. |

Check the eLDINFO - www.eldinfo.com (eLearning portal). There is a directory of software/solutions for eLearning development in the 'Design/Author' section and directory of LMS/LCMS solutions/providers for your e-learning delivery.

Hello Charleen Fabunan,
PowerPoint cannot be shared on Web directly, if there is no PowerPoint installed on users' computer, users cannot will your business presntations. So, I suggest you convert your presntation to Flash with PowerPoint to E-learning tool. Besides, some other eLearning tools are aslo available on Web, such as Wondershare QuizCreator, DemoCreator, Adobe Presenter and so on. |

Our company is looking into LearningZen.com. I don't know what your company is like, but we are a smaller business with limited funds for an LMS. You can create courses with all types of media you specified, and the course creator is easy to use. We are leaning towards it because it's abuot 5,000 a year, everything else we considered was way out of our price range.
