I'm in the process of looking at different web conferencing/training tools that allow for both live and on-demand training.

I've used WebEx and Microsoft Live Meeting and both offer similar features. If you have used Adobe Connect Pro at an enterprise level, can you post your experience and opinion of it?

Thanks!

Hello Dan--

My company recently began using Adobe Connect Pro for our train-the-trainers and other "high stakes" web-trainings. The reactions from the trainers and the learners have been quite positive.

I have experienced the tool as a trainer and as a learner and I was very impressed with the functionality and the intuitiveness of the software. It was easy to learn and raised the level of participant involvement. One of the most popular features are the polling and chatting. There is also a setting so SME's can answer private questions from the learners either individually or back to the group.

My company has over 70 thousand employees nationwide so we are in the early stages of deployment. I believe we purchased 150 seats for attendees.

I hope this is helpful. If you'd like more information, please don't hesitate to ask.

Kind Regards--

Heather

Yeah it is a very good product for remote control of another users computer with logging/recording capability. But currently I am using Gomeetnow ( see my sig.)for over an year as its security features are more reliable.

We use it extensively - the Meeting (synchronous) product is outstanding in terms of features balanced with ease of use. We've never seen a user who didn't feel immediately comfortable at least as a meeting attendee, if not using some of the more advanced features.

Not sure if you are using the Presenter asynchronous component to narrate PowerPoint. It's good for what it does but the workflow can be awkward and the problems with adding video really hurt it.
