Wondering if any one would know of some soft ware that will allow one to integrate video snippets into an PPT - where the video is part of the PPT file and there is no need to have the files associated in the same folder. Thanks

You cannot embed a "movie", but you can embed flash. So, convert the movie to flash and follow these instructions. Expect a big file!

As far as know, you could insert video to ppt as part of presentation, but the video file is linked to the presentation, you could embed the videos to your presentation other than put the video and ppt in the same folder if you convert your presentation to Flash movie.
Also, you could insert the video to the ppt and integrate the presenter's video and narration with the presentation, such as this sample: click to view sample |

Even if you do this, it still isn't really "embedded" because the properties box you are still linking to the destination and the .swf has to be in the same directory, and if you copy to another PC you need to go into properties and make sure it's linked correctly. Also, in 2007 the instructions are different. You need to: Select the Office Button Click PowerPoint Options (at the bottom) Place a check mark in the Show Developer Tab in the Ribbon and click OK You will now have a new tab called "Developer" Access the Developer Tab, click the tool (hammer & wrench) From there it's the same... |
