My company has a large amount of the staff that is seasonal. Due to this fact we give tests before they can leave the initial training and go on the phones. I am trying to convert to an online testing program, instead of paper testing for a couple reasons. The first being we go through a lot of paper hiring as many people as we do. The second reason it is very time consuming and tedious to hand grade each test. With the amount of tests they take I could probably save 4-5 hours per class in which I could implement more reinforcement activities. The problem I am running into is I have no idea where to start. I tried looking on the internet but there are hundreds on there and I have no idea who to trust. This is my first job in the training field and I have survived the first season but there are many improvements to be made and I am a department of one so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Brett |

As you say, there are many systems out there, and priced all across the map. Sounds like you want something simple to use and easy to learn (for a department of one). Our Weblearning System Weblearning System may be a fit for your budget and feature requirements. You may also want to look at some free alternatives (such as Moodle). Overall, prepare to spend some time evaluating - there's a lot out there. |

Am I understanding this correctly -- They're taking tests on paper for something they must do on the phones?

they are taking tests on information they need to use while taking calls from customers

Please contact me. I have worked with assessment software leaders like Questionmark, and know of many tools that offer quizzing like Wondershare, Articlate, Lectora, and LMS/LCMS that combine this with tracking.
I'd like to understand needs before making any recommendation. David Glow dglow@tampabay.rr.com |
