I am trying to improve my training methods and the results I recieve from my current training sessions (classroom & lectures) to create a more interactive approach to learning. My company is in the medical field and owns 13 different doctors offices, and until I was hired, they never had any formal training for thier employees. With 13 offices, it is hard to develop group trainings, and closing the offices for extended periods of time can become harmful to our bottom line. I am strongly considering eLearning to better improve our training capabilities and effectiveness. I am looking at purchasing the LMS Elicitus with Raptivity. I was wondering if anyone has used this and what do they think about the program as a whole (easy to use, interactive, easy to develop systems, etc.)?

Any opinions would be great.

Thanks!

Mike:

Please contact me- after being through 4 enterprise level LMS implementations (multi-national) and several other smaller implementations, I would like to share my experiences (good and bad) to assist you.

I also participated in (and am quoted in) the e-learning guild study on LMS systems, which I find to be a great resource for tips, and a very balanced report on the variety of systems available. I have recommended it to several folks on these boards and received positive comments on it's impact in assisting them.

I am just not sure where to start. Elicitus with Raptivity is the authoring tool that I would like to use, but do I need an LMS to implement these tools within our company? The people I have spoken with really did not answer me completly, and I just really want to know what I need (authoring tool, LMS, SCORM, etc.) and what it will cost! I just can't seem to get a straight answer...any ideas suggestions?

My office # is 847-905-1410 ext. 34 - I would like to talk about your thoughts and ideas about this topic.
