I have an opportunity to gain a lot of experience authoring courses in the Outstart Evolution LCMS authoring tool. I am in the early phase of my career and would prefer to gain experience on industry standard tools.

Outstart touts the Evolution LCMS highly, but how is it perceived within our industry?

How desirable is a Outstart Evolution LCMS authoring skillset to a hiring manager at learning/training shops that serve government agencies?

As an LCMS tool, in my experience with the Outstart product it is excellent but pricey although not as pricey at the tool SCASE is lead trolling for.

Depending on what you are trying to do, I can recommend you to a terrific FREE and more powerful tool than most LCMS and proffesional authoring tools...
