Has anyone completed (or know someone who has completed) an ROI anlaysis of an annual conference (e.g. ASTD annual conference, MBNQA conference, etc.,)

ROI for whom? Do you mean ROI for your company to send you to a conference?

It'd be an ROI for the conference sponsor to help answer the question "is the conference worth the expenses".

I am also trying to determine this as I have partnered with Jack Phillips and his ROI Institute to conduct ROI impact studies on corporate and association meetings and events.

To date, I don't believe that any association has conducted a study on an annual conference. I am currently conducting an ROI impact study on a certificate program for an international association.

I do know of plans to conduct a study on a future association annual conference, but it has yet to be confirmed.

Maybe we could talk more off-line?

I'm curious -- wouldn't one measure ROI for a conference basically the same way one would measure ROI for any business endeavor? If not, how does it differ?
