New to ASTD and, therefore, new to this Discusson Board. Please forgive me if this is a topic that has already been thoroughly addressed; however, I have searched and haven't come up with what I'm looking for.

Needs:
1) A tool that can handle all levels of evaluation (with the possible exception of ROI, which might be the case WAY down the road), particularly post-class client reaction to training, knowledge learned, and 3-6 month follow-up.

2) Reporting functionality that allows for breakdowns by trainer, class, question, you name it.

3) The ability to handle a reasonably high volumne (3000-5000 evaluations/month)

4) Training that takes place nationally and internationally, in the classroom and via the web.

(FYI... we don't yet have an LMS.)

I would appreciate any comments (ease of use, cost, etc.) on the following, as well as any others: Commonwealth Metrics, Knowledge Advisors, Zoomerang, PTG-International, Training Force. Pros? Cons?

Commonwealth Metrics (mentioned in your post) is my organization so please feel free to contact me anytime about capabilities for the software we use....and why we use it.

There are several excellent products available, all with their own +/-'s...depending on your needs (power-flexibility-cost...etc). What you have described, however, is pretty robust.

We chose 20/20 Insight (and now sell the software w/permission from the publisher)simply because once you buy it you can use it for just about any type survey/assessment.

Please contact me. We use Questionmark, but with an LMS. Some interesting constraints based on the audience size you noted- specifically in light of NOT having an LMS.

Know of some other tools/techniques as well.
