Hi,
I am doing a project to measure the effectiveness of training program in an IT company. The training program is done through Mock Project system in which a mock project is carried out in live project like scenario with stimulation of all the real time conditions. This is done because inspite of having basic skill set training candidates are not able to go live on project as they dont have hands-on experience. I need to measure it on all the 5 levels of evaluation including ROI and to found the key performance indicators on which evaluation could be done. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Mickey |

I don't like to answer a question with a question, but... What have you (or whoever designed the learning) done to link the learning to your business metrics that you're already measuring? The basis for all of your measurements will start with well-written, performance-based, learning objectives. You will have great difficulty measuring anything without having these objectives in place. Happy to help you down this path if you'd like. Don |

Hi Don,
Thanks for the reply. The Points which you have mentioned, I had also tried to do go on the same way. But now I give you the detail how this training program comes into the organization. This is for SAP certified professionals who undergoes 12 weeks of this training program. People who undergo this program are normally recruited from B-schools or from industry having SAP user experience. The reason for that was these people were unable to work in live scenario though they have the SAP training but it takes atleast one to one n half years before they completely being on project. Before that they normally do testing etc which is beneficial to them nor for the organization. Therefore senior management thought it is better to have this training so tehy will be able to have the feel and cross-functionals problems could also be solved. Regards, Mickey |
