I have just begun the process of building a training organization within a direct to consumer distribution center that currently employs around 2200 non-exempt associates. My previous experience is with the same company's contact center. Some of my experience translates, some does not.

My biggest question is 'what does a training organization look like in a distribution center environment that uses on the job training and a student to trainer ratio of approximately 4:1?'

I am having a hard time finding other distribution centers in our area that have a formal training program. If anyone has any experience with this, I would love to hear about it.
