Hi All,
I need some help in ideas for making the training as revenue generating. We have a IT System, which is very successful in market. We do provide traing once the sale is done, but need to increase the revenue. Appreciate ideas asap to increase our revenue. Thanks! Learngeek |

Not sure what the issue is. Why don't you charge for training? Many IT companies charge for additional or advanced training on there products.
Standard training is typically free, everything else you pay for. |

Training price is a component of the new deal or upgrade deal. Apart from this, there is nothing much. We do have few customers coming to us asking for new staff training and few private enquiries. So apart from this, what can we do to improve the revenue independent of the deal. Thanks again for your response. |

You could license others to train for your product (charge a hefty license fee).
Offer one-on-one training ("personal coaching") for a fee. Offer bootcamps, training on cruise ships, resorts, etc for an additional fee (i.e. offer the "included" training in a nicer venue for an added fee). I've seen all these in the wild. --john |
