What is the average (and/or optimal) % or number of hours permonth/year, per employee devoted to "training" across industries? Are there are any articles written on this? |

Hi RS... This is always an interesting question, and I think you'll find some interesting replies/discussion on this topic throughout these forums (because it comes up a lot *grin*). Try the Find tool, and mark that you want it to search all forums.

The only consistent answer you will find is, "Enough hours to ensure that employees receive enough training to do their work effectively". The range is anywhere from a few hours a year to 100+ it really depends on the industry, job complexity, change etc.
