Hi, I am currently undertaking research with partners (Towards Maturity and the Institute of Work-based Learning at Middlesex University) to find examples of good practice in the use of e-learning with a 'clear and concrete' evidence base of business benefits for companies small and large. We are looking for new independent research and/or case studies/testimonials where learning technologies have been used to (for example) assess organisational and individual need, deliver learning, provide learner support, enhance management or administration, or enable formal or informal learning.

Benefits could take the form of cost savings, time savings (time away from work/time to competency), productivity gains (such as speed/quality), sales impact (direct increase or indirect such as customer satisfaction) or staff benefits (reduction in absenteeism, reduced turnover etc.).

I'd be very grateful for any links, pointers, suggestions, or personal experiences which could help us to provide quantifiable evidence. Results of the research may be published by Becta in the UK in due course

Thanks

Roger
