Looking for some samples of scorecards used by Training and Development teams. If anyone has anything to share, it would be greatly appreciated. My team is in the early stages of creating one, trying to figure out what to measure, what will be most meaningful and have some longevity.
Thanks. |

I don't have a sample, but here are some metrics I track.
-Satisfaction with orientation/onboarding (new hire survey) -Hours of training per employee (tracking tool) -Average number of attendees per hour of training provided -Retention -Employee Satisfaction with development/growth opportunitites (employee survey) I try to limit myself to 5-6 metrics at any given time. |

Thanks for providing that and some of what we've tracked in the past.

Respectfully, I'm not sure I understand how hours of training or average number of attendees per hour really demonstrate anything useful. I would like to understand, though... what do you envision learning from that data?

SSFN -
These days audience determines the efficacy of most programs. If employees feel they are gaining benefit from the offerings they'll show up, if not they won't. Tracking training hours let's me know that my employees feel that they are benefiting from what we are offering and participating. Attendees per hour is a way of measuring our efficiency. Hope this helps. |
