From a Call Center perspective, training budgets typically allow between 2% - 6% of an employees productivity time back into training. So a full time employee who works 2080 hours per year, would get anywhere from 40 to 120 hours of refresher/uptraining per year, depending on the complexity of the product(s).

Dear rsilaghi, Every organisatiob has different norms for ndefining training norms. eg: In our organisation every employee has to undergo 9 mandays of training in a year. 1 manday- 8 hours
trust this will make your life in calculating mandays a lil better
