KaLiKo,

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

"But it can also mean to act as a medium to transfer something from one place to another." And used as adjective, which is what you are also doing, means "involving or depending on an intermediary or an intermediate action."

Yes, you are right. That's what I'm talking about.

"An employee's motivation to learn influences the employee's commitment to the organization and is a key factor in retention. This research will examine the underlying key variables of motivation to learn, and how they relate to organizational commitment." You could add: "The supervisor's role is also important and will be discussed as it relates to both motivation to learn and organizational committment."

This is a good idea. It is simpler and much easier to understand. Definitely I will consider your suggestion.

Thank you so much!

Dear Kaliko, Respectfully, I said nothing one way or another regarding whether or not someone else should discuss a school assignment. I simply explained why *I* did not go into detail.

Ahua - I'm hoping that pointing out that I did not see the gap you see provides you some food for thought. That's all.

Well, my question to you would be, "who cares," why you did or did not go into detail. I mean really - who cares? Your comment, "I didn't provide more detail regarding my perspectcive because, unless I misunderstood -- this is an assignment for school. Yes?" made no sense unless it was to provide a hint to the rest of us that we should not provide help either since it is a school project. And I know from the past year or so that you hold that opinion. You make it clear everytime someone posts something to do with a thesis. If you want to discuss that point, start a new thread.

Furthermore, telling someone that you don't see a gap provides no help at all. If your concern was truly to help the poster, you could have at least stated why you believe there to be no gap - that would have been helpful and might have generated an interesting discussion. Without further clarification on it, the poster would have no reason to value your statement one way or the other. Despite what you may think, you really provided no "food for thought." All you did was state your opinion. It is not all that helpful.

This thread has moved beyond the request of the original poster is becoming irrelevant to the original request. Let's stay on topic.

You need now to sit back and reflect on all the good comments to gain perspective. As you know, research related discussions sometimes are very spirited and to people unfamilar with the process bewildering.
Where is your chairman/mentor is this process?
