Hello to each of you,
I am new to your discussion boards; but, found them very enlightening as I research the need for a degree program in Instructional Design. Western Kentucky University and my committee are researching the need for a Master's Degree in Instructional Development. My assignment is to seek advice and input from leaders in the field. Do you see the need for such a degree? What would the job prospects be?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I'd get a masters in Education. Nobody knows what ID is. And those who say they use an ID model before designing training usually don't. Just my opinion, but I seem to find more fluff than fact with ID.
