My work at Ford was informed by the extensive work of Geert Hofstede. One of the most important characteristics of India is its enormous size and diversity so you are always in danger when you generalize. Nevertheless, Hofstede has some ideas that are research based, interesting and very helpful. Good Luck!

Adult learning is fairly different in India. Few points to note:
a. People prefer instructor led trg. b. Learning by example or thru case studies is faster instead of conducting theory sessions. c. Audience has an intent to change.
