Much is written about persuading, encouraging if not cajoling people to share information but correspondingly little about how this is then used, adapted and recycled into new contexts or countries........or have I just been asleep for the last decade?
How about inviting each person who posts on the ASTD training fundamentals to either share one idea or say how they have used one idea they have seen posted. Taking this one stage futher...map out the international networking that is taking place to reinforce just how easy it is to share and how easy (from posts of how ideas have been used) to provide feedback. |

Je ne comprends pas. Vieulliez m'excuser je ne parles pas Francais.
sauf........Vive L'Ecosse! International know how....mmm...a veritable can of worms! Maybe we should rephrase to international know not how! “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning.” (Albert Einstein) |

Dado, point taken.
This board spans one huge country but also several continents.I get ideas about a range of issues but mostly enjoy seeing that, despite the rhetoric, we all face similar challenges. For example, Hannibal Lecter's (or was it someone else?) post on punishment for late arrivals has been Top of the Pops for weeks......depite the righteous indignation and willingness to condemn this person I suspect that many of us could be found reaching for the Chianti, in similar circumstances, at least once in our careers. I use such postings as a starting point for discussions. “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning.” (Albert Einstein) |

quote:....Goli otok is an island....a small island so we see abig world outside.....perhaps it is easier to look outside when you are a small island.......seems only small islands are debating this point....if Keven contributes then we get one large island but he must be sleeping again. What happened to worldly wise ASTD peoples? Must be election time again....makes me realize that the HDZ are not so bad! |
