I have come across many situations as you described and I ahve found an excellent resource for new trainer certification and training refresher skills. the program is originally developed by the Univ. of Auckland, NZ and id a program that is recognized by the Min. of Education of both NZ and Australia. ASTD offers various certicate programs that are available for presentation in other countries. I am in Mumbai right now delivering the ASTD Training Certificate Program. If you are interested in learning more about the ASTD Certificate Programs, and the Training Certificate Program in particular, you can contact Elizabeth Hannah at ehannah@astd.org.
