What do you mean by OJT "program"? Are you looking for how to format and/or develop? OJT is specific to a company and I am not aware of a manufacturing industry program. I develop OJT and may be able to provide some guidance on format and development process.

HI: I agree with Bravo. OJT is specific to the needs of the manufacturing plant. Even inside the same company, every site may have different OJT.

Here is an idea, contact the training department of manufacturing plants close to your site, contact also the training department of other sites of your company. Ask to see if you may go and talk to them and see their programs in function. Make sure that you are not looking for confidential info, just the format or process. Share with them what are the things your organization is doing.

Good luck!

I am starting from scratch and need some sort of guidance on what works best in this type of environment as far as OJT. I am looking for any information you can provide.

Trainin... see the book Hands On Training. It's short, sweet and to the point with how to design and implement an on-the-job program.
