Some of us are trying to help save you time, money and headache by getting to the root of the problem and solving it in a much more direct, immediate and far less expensive way.

Jeremy,

Just when you thought you were done.....

OK...the VP knows there is an issue. Still more work to be done before training (sorry.) Does the VP want help? Is the VP willing to work with a coach? What is the consequence of the VP ignoring the feedback or failure to take advantage of developmental resources?

If you get to the point that a learning program is appropriate and the participant is ready you might want to check in with these folks:

Give them some background and either they should be able to help or direct you to a useful resource.

Jeff

Jeremy,

A few thoughts. First, with senior level executives, it might be worth investing in one-on-one presentation skills coaching rather than enrolling in a class. At that level, an executive may be uncomfortable practicing and showing his "weaknesses" in front of peers in a public workshop. Plus, I assume he sees his time as highly valuable. A coach could develop a relationship with this executive and tailor learning specifically to the individual.

Another option is an organization called SpeakEasy Communications. The contact I know is Reagan Ramsey -- Speakeasy Communications

Reagan is based in Atlanta. I have a client that highly recommends them for presentation skills.

Hope this helps! Phyllis

Have you thought about hiring an executive presentations coach? Someone who can tailor their program to this specific individual's needs and help him to become more concise and focused in his thinking and communication?

If you are interested in going this route, I have a resource, but will have to do some research, since I havent seen her in awhile.
