Good Friday afternoon,

I am looking to bring in leadership development and communications skills training for an executive management team. They are really "label conscious" and aren't looking for an independent coach or small team of consultants- they want an established firm with street cred to come in. I havemy own thoughts but wanted to open it to my peers out there.

I would love to hear suggestions on the best of the best that any of you have seen in action.

Thanks!

For me it has to be Franklin Covey. The work they do based on Stephen Covey's leadership books is fantastic.

The Gallup Organization's "Great Manager Program" is based on over 40 years of robust research. All the best performing organizations have at one point or another Gallup Leadership stuff taught to them. The program is based on the NYT best selling book: First, Break All The Rules.

Gallup is a big name (everyone heard of the Gallup Poll). They research, design, teach and follow through.

I believe they have a minimum engagement level of at least $200K.

If that's too much, another high-impact leadership program is by Quma Learning. Not dissimilar to Covey's approach, but they are more about increasing the levels of accountability than anything else. Pretty useful in this economy.

My best experience was with the Center for Creative Leadership http://www.ccl.org

Both of my week long experiences were memorable and impactful.

Check out the Arbinger Institute... make sure your people are "out of the box," or they can never be true leaders.

I like Covey, but its not the best for the Senior level.

I love Gallup and suggest checking out "Strengths Based Leadership" or their executive talent reporting service.
