Good afternoon!

I am a fairly recent grad. Since before I left school, I have known that I want to pursue training and development as a career. I am currently working for a wonderful company that allows me to facilitate leadership development workshops for youth.

I am trying to gain as much experience as possible to further my knowledge of the field. I am currently seeking any position that will allow me to learn. Next fall I hope to be in graduate school specializing in either I/O Psychology or Organizational Development. Ultimately training and development is what I want to pursure. Any advicce or suggestions for what I might do to gain some additional experience?

Also, any thoughts on whether it is best to pursue a graduate education or not?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Go for the graduate degree.

Take any and all internships you can get along the way. It may get you hired by the company you intern for and will at least give you some practical experience that you can speak of on job interviews.
