THANK YOU!!!! CC - I just spent an entire semester in graduate school on this topic and we only scratched the surface. I simply cannot fathom how/why organizations continue to address change in this way (e.g., half-day workshops) and then walk around scratching their heads wondering why changes are always so difficult or don't work quite right.
