Change is ongoing, ever-present. It's a constant reality. If one needs to implement radical change, one must first seek to understand and acknowledge that a company is like a complex, living organism and the individuals within the company will make or break that change. It is the underlying culture - the way people interact and get things done - that dictates how or whether changes will go smoothly. Your first step to getting changes to work smoothly is to understand the culture now and work towards steps that make the culture strong and adaptive so that changes are just another part of the ordinary ebb and flow.

Tough situation. The data on successful change programs is dismal. Most academic studies show 70 to 100% failure rates. Research on the successes however show interesting patterns which seem to work well.

Problem is the insights are politically incorrect, but scientifically accurate. Change is more about shifting beliefs than the popular structure, content, and process change methods. And some of these shifts are triggered from a genetic framework. People respond instinctively.

Can send more info if you think this perspective will be useful. Let me know.

Helping with change is never easy. Each person will react to each change process differently.
The following article Managing Change

Other models are listed: Management Change Models

Change workshops can help groups or teams - but do not underestimate the power of coaching here.
