Dear All,
I am working with a Hotel Industry, and has been transfered to corporate. My new task is to start the Centre for Learning & Development & to make the LMS for the group. You need to start out with an overall or strategic plan. This includes setting out your learning principles for the organization. You might also want to start with a series of short interviews with all your key stakeholders.

Learning Path Consultants has it:
What are your executive's key issues today and what key issues do they forsee being challenges in the future? (what keeps them worrying, what obstacles keeps them from maximizing the company's value) Which of these issues can be addressed with a form of a training intervention? Of these training interventions, how do we get these to the right employees at the time of need, and if needed, how do we track where employees are in training (this is your case for an LMS or not)? Keep it very simple- find what issues your executives need resolved and start on these.
