I mentioned this somewhere in another thread but since I've made some additional progress, thought I throw up a trial balloon for discussion.
I've been doing some work for another company to develop toolbars (strips that run across the top of one's browser) that give easy access to learning materials. The toolbars (there's two so far) cover a specific topic. So, right now the one I've been working on is for managers. It contains access to about 300 articles, several hundred audio programs, and some video programs on subjects of interest to managers, leaders, executives and supervisors. The idea is to place the resources where they can be seen, and in a way they can be used without someone spending time searching all over the Internet. To be honest, I'm not sure what we might do with the things. If anyone has any comments about the concept or the application, I'd be happy to hear. For more information, there's both general and specific information about the toolbars at http://busylearners.com/toolbars/index.htm They are free by the way, and of course, if you want to download and install one or more, feel free. Pat. |
