Hello all!
I have been placed on a project to look at our onboarding process. I was hoping some of you would be willing to share some of the creative ways in which you onboard your employees. I'm not looking for full-scale program design information, more interested in what are some of the fun/creative ways you have used to acclimate your employees to your organization. Any healthcare specific or 'billable services' examples would be great as this is the environment in which I work. MickeyD |

I am somewhat biased since I build business simulations, but I'd make something very interactive and scenario/game-based. It wouldn't have to be fancy, just a well thought-out series of "situations" that the employee will find themselves in, and then a "challenge" to complete the scenario or solve the issue. With follow-on instruction/practice to reinforce.
To make sure it's fun and competitive make sure there is a way to score each participant so you can determine a "winner". Just a thought. But could be a very fun exercise. |
