I'm looking for examples of career path models. Currently, I'm involved with a project in which we will build roadmaps for individual positions. We also plan to build a model with ways to transition from one job to another, e.g. from marketing to claim.
So far we've collected data from incumbents on what their jobs entail. If you've been involved in such projects, please let me know! This is huge! Patience |

I have a similar challenge.

I as well am tasked with what sounds like a similar situation. I would very much appreciate any insight you have gained. I would like to start with a "list" of elements or components that career pathing models contain.....ie. job profiles, competency identification, etc. Any input you have would be very appreciated!

I am new to this forum, but I found these website links that might be helpful to you.

Lisa - Thank you for your contribution. It's useful for the process to establish the competency definitions, which is definitely one part.
Another aspect is how to link the competencies and portray them into useful career pathing. Perhaps there is a model or software to assist. Greg |
