I need a coaching activity of less than 15 minutes. I am doing a 30 minute (brief) coaching for improvement session for managers. Having trouble creating or finding one that fits.
What are you hoping they get out of it? The more specific you can be about the desired end result, the more likely it is to brainstorm and figure out something that might work.
I'd suggest doing three-person role-play groups: coach, coachee, observer. Write up simple briefings for the coaches describing what they are going to coach, for the coachees describing what they are struggling to do and their attitude toward the process. Give the observer a checklist of your preferred coaching steps and have them record performance and share observations with the other two. Debrief as a group with a few observer volunteers.

I think Kammerer has it spot on there. Managers generally enjoy being involved in the whole process and this approach fits that perfectly.

It really depends on the type of coaching your group needs. You can do a short 1 minute praise review or curstone coaching in a short period of time.
If you are looking for more developmental coaching or something like the GROW model, you would need more time.
Groups of three are normally the best way to go, but the key is for the skills you are looking to see or the process you want to be followed be clear at the outset.
