Hello,

I've been a District Visual Manager as well as an Area Manager in my 8 years of apparel retail experience.

Tomorrow I have my first interview for a District Manager position with a privately owned 1000+ store company.

I've never interviewed for this caliber of a position for all my past multi-store positions were promotion based... I have a few ?'s that I would really appreciate advice on...

- Questions I can expect to be asked.
- Questions I should ask.
- Should I wear a suit?
- Expected salary range for 5-7 store district with each store averaging 1mil - 1.5mil
- Should I expect phone, laptop or car vs mileage reimbursement?
- Anything else you think may be pertinent for me to know, ask or be prepared to ask.

Any and all advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!!!!

Once upon a time I completed the Macy's Executive Training Program although left retail soon after. You should've done this prep LONG BEFORE now.

Q's they ask: basically its,tell me about yourself, why this industry, why us, what can you do for us, why do you think you fit in, also behavioral type q's like In your last leadership
situation.......

Q's Where is this job going,what happened to the last person, what is your management style, what are the responsibilities, how am I going to be assessed, what are the priorities????????
