Hello all, we have a need to deliver some courses on effective business writing for employees who speak English as a second language. We need to start at the basic level. We would like to do this in house. Can anyone recommend material you have used in the past? Also, I am looking for information on an "Accent Reduction" program. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated!

Mikel L: Check the series of books "ESL English as a Second Language" from REA (Research & Education Association, www.rea.com)these books move from beginners, intermediate and advenced grammar and writing. You may use them as text and workbooks.
For the accent reduction check with several speech pathologists, they are some that are bilingual speech pathologists. They can guide you with exercises or provide the services for your organization depending of your budget.
